Mustafa Briggs is a London-born author, speaker, and Islamic scholar recognized for his work on the intersections of Islam, Black history, and global civilization.

A graduate of the University of Westminster and al-Azhar University, he has studied extensively across the Muslim world, earning multiple ʾIjāzāt (traditional scholarly licenses).

He gained international prominence with his acclaimed lecture series Beyond Bilal: Black History in Islam, which explores the historical and intellectual ties between Islam and Africa.

The series was presented at major universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and Yale, and later developed into a bestselling book.
